Ca' di Press's Barbera d'Alba comes from the hill of Perno, in Monforte d'Alba.
Ca' di Press has a very particular story: while on the one hand we could consider this a historic winery, as it was founded in the early 1900s, on the other hand we can consider it one of the most exciting new developments since 2022. It was in this year that Alice and Cristina, helped by their parents, released their first bottled vintage. In the past, the wine was sold in bulk in demijohns, and many of the grapes that are now harvested and pressed were once delivered to local wineries.

The Winery: Ca' di Press
A winery formally established in the early 1900s, meaning viticulturists and producers for over a century. Over the years, the Pressenda family focused mainly on selling bulk wine and supplying grapes to important local wineries. In 2018, Alice and Cristina, in their twenties, decided to make the land of Perno and wine their profession. In 2022, the first two labels were released: Barolo del Comune di Monforte and Langhe Nebbiolo.
