Barbera d'Alba 2022

Ca' di Press' Barbera d'Alba comes from the Perno hill, in Monforte d'Alba.

Ca' di Press has a very unique story: while on the one hand we could consider this a historic winery, as it was founded in the early 1900s, on the other hand we can see it as one of the most exciting new developments since 2022. It was in that year that Alice and Cristina, with the help of their parents, released their first bottled vintage. In the past, the wine was sold in bulk in demijohns, and many of the grapes that are now harvested and pressed were once delivered to local wineries.

The Winery: Ca' di Press

Formally established in the early 1900s, the winery has been run by vintners and producers for over a century. Over the years, the Pressenda family focused mainly on selling bulk wine and delivering grapes to important local wineries. In 2018, Alice and Cristina, in their twenties, decided to make the land of Perno and wine their profession. In 2022, their first two labels were released: Barolo del Comune di Monforte and Langhe Nebbiolo.
