Olek Bondonio's Barbera d'Alba is produced from grapes grown in a vineyard in Altavilla, just above Alba.
Olek personally oversees all stages of processing at his winery, from careful harvesting and selection of the grapes, to vinification at his Cascina La Berchialla. Fermentations are always spontaneous, and throughout the vinification process, a minimally invasive approach is sought.
