Ovello is an MGA known for producing Barbaresco wines of great structure and austerity, characterized by a particularly mineral finish. This Barbaresco Riserva Ovello 2020 from Produttori del Barbaresco is a prime example. It is a full-bodied wine fermented in steel and aged for 36 months in large oak barrels: a wine that currently expresses fruity and earthy notes, but thanks to its structure and acidity, it can undoubtedly benefit from a long bottle aging.
