The Barbaresco Riserva "Ovello" 2019 from Produttori del Barbaresco originates in the vineyards of MGA Ovello, one of the most important in the entire municipality of Barbaresco.
Ovello is an MGA known for producing Barbaresco wines of great structure and austerity, characterized by a particularly mineral finish. The Barbaresco Riserva Ovello 2017 from Produttori del Barbaresco is a prime example. This full-bodied wine is vinified in steel and aged for 36 months in large oak barrels. It currently expresses fruity and earthy notes, but thanks to its structure and acidity, it can greatly benefit from a long bottle aging period.
