Montestefano is an MGA that stands out for producing Barbaresco of great structure and austerity, characterized by a particularly mineral finish. This Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano 2020 by Produttori del Barbaresco is an example of this. A full-bodied wine vinified in steel and aged for 36 months in large oak barrels: a wine that currently expresses fruity and earthy notes, but which, thanks to its structure and acidity, can certainly benefit from long bottle aging.
