Arbois Pupillin Savagnin "Foudre à Canon" is a white wine produced by Domaine de la Borde in the Jura region.
Savagnin is vinified as a single varietal, which is why it is called "nature" and produced with a total absence of oxidation, as it is aged in full oak barrels for about 20 months on its lees. The wine is a great expression of the terroir, rich in tension and salinity.

The Winery: Domaine de la Borde
Domaine de la Borde is a small winery based in Pupillin, in the fantastic Jura region. The driving force behind the winery is Julien Mareschal, a young oenologist with a past as a wanderer seeking winemaking experiences in various areas of France. Since 2012, the winery has followed the principles of biodynamic cultivation, and its wines reflect the terroir and classic Jura grape varieties. The winery primarily cultivates indigenous grape varieties, from Chardonnay to Ploussard, from Savagnin to Trousseau, and a small part of the vineyards is planted with Pinot Noir.
