Domaine de Trevallon's Alpilles Rouge is produced in the Provence region of France, using Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grapes.

Made from the unusual combination of red grape varieties, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, which contributes to the complexity and originality of the wine. The grapes come from vineyards located in the Alpilles hills, which offer a unique terroir particularly suited to vine cultivation. Alpilles Rouge stands out for its powerful and structured character, its intense and complex aromas, ranging from notes of black fruit, such as cherry and blackberry, to spicy notes, aromatic herbs, and earthy nuances. On the palate, the wine offers a combination of juicy fruit, well-integrated tannins, and pleasant acidity.

The story of Domaine de Trévallon began in the 1970s when Eloi Dürrbach and his wife, Edith, decided to realize their dream of cultivating grapes and producing wine in the Provence region of France. In 1973, they purchased a plot of land in the Alpilles area, south of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence.
Eloi Dürrbach, a sculptor by training, brought his passion for art to the world of wine. With a unique vision and unconventional approach, he dedicated himself to cultivating red grape varieties, particularly Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, in an area traditionally focused on producing white and rosé wines.
The estate took its name from an ancient Roman site nearby called "Trévallon," which inspired the name Domaine de Trévallon. The first harvest was produced in 1978, and since then, Domaine de Trévallon has gained a prestigious reputation in the French and international wine scene.
Eloi Dürrbach's philosophy was to respect the terroir and cultivate grapes organically, without using synthetic chemicals. His attention to detail and dedication to craftsmanship are reflected in the wines he produced. Domaine de Trévallon's wines are distinguished by their complexity, structure, and aging potential.
Today, Domaine de Trévallon is managed by Eloi's son, Antoine Dürrbach, who has inherited his father's passion and dedication to wine production. The estate continues to produce iconic wines such as Alpilles Rouge, representing the oenological excellence of the Alpilles region.
