The Extra Brut "Mixolydien 45" Grand Cru Champagne is made from Chardonnay grapes harvested in the Lieu Dit Le Moulin sur Oger.
We are in the vicinity of the village of Oger, and from a vineyard planted in 1970, the Regnault family harvests a selection of their Chardonnay grapes from vines rooted in a chalky soil. The base vintage is 2016, vinified in barriques with 35% reserve wine from the 2014 and 2015 vintages, and malolactic fermentation carried out.

The Winery: Stephane Regnault
The story of the Stephane Regnault winery begins in 2007, when Stephane, after gaining work experience in London and Paris, returned home to start working in his family's domaine. These were years of trials and experiments, until he launched his first label on the market in 2018. The vineyards are all located in the Cote des Blancs, between the villages of Oger and Le Mesnil. The approach to viticulture is totally organic, and in the cellar too, they try to intervene as little as possible in pursuit of Champagnes that fully express Stephane's style and the terroir of origin.
