The "Lydien 80" Grand Cru Extra Brut Champagne is made from Chardonnay grapes harvested in the Lieu Dit Le Chemin de Flavigny.
We are in the surroundings of the village of Oger, and from a vineyard planted in 1950, Stephane Regnault harvests his Chardonnay grapes from vines rooted in chalky soil. The base is from the 2018 vintage, with 35% coming from a perpetual reserve composed of various vintages between 2014 and 2017. 65% of the total mass is vinified in wooden barrels.

The Winery: Stephane Regnault
The story of the Stephane Regnault winery began in 2007 when Stephane, after gaining work experience in London and Paris, returned home to start working in his family's domaine. These were years of trials and experiments, until he released his first label in 2018. The vineyards are all located in the Cote des Blancs, between the villages of Oger and Le Mesnil. The approach to viticulture is totally organic, and in the cellar, they try to intervene as little as possible in search of Champagnes that fully express Stephane's style and the terroir of origin.
