Ouverture is the Domaine's entry-level Premier Cru Champagne, made from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Premier Cru villages of Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds.
The old vines are planted on soils rich in chalky layers, called "craie". The total production of this wine is around 20,000 bottles. In the glass, Frederic's style is unmistakable: the expressiveness of Pinot Noir combined with freshness and finesse always, always delivers a fantastic drinking experience.
