Dolcetto d'Alba 2021

Lalù winery's Dolcetto d'Alba 2021 is produced in Serralunga d'Alba with grapes harvested from the Loreto vineyard in La Morra.

Only 1200 bottles were produced, and this will also be one of the few vintages available as the vineyard will be uprooted to make way for new rows of Nebbiolo. We are in La Morra, in the Loreto vineyard. Spontaneous fermentation in steel and aging divided between steel and wood for this Dolcetto d'Alba that speaks of Langhe and Spring, with a strong fruity backbone that gives way to spicy notes.

The Winery: Lalù

Lara and Luisa are two very young Langhe producers, born in 1991 and 1990 respectively. During their degree in Gastronomic Sciences at the University of Pollenzo, they began to approach the world of wine, visiting many producers in the Langhe, coming into contact with what completely fascinates them: working in the vineyard, the true relationship with the land and all the attention and care necessary for the production of quality wine. After graduating, they moved to France, mostly to Burgundy, where they assisted some of the most iconic producers in the French wine scene, such as Cécile Tremblay, to name one, in harvesting and cellar work. Thus the dream of their own project was born, from their friendship in school to life and work partners. Today, Lara and Luisa vinify the three main red grape varieties of the Langhe: Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. The winery is located in Serralunga, while the vineyards are divided between La Morra and Monforte d'Alba.
