The winery: Andrea Cauda
Andrea Cauda comes from a family of winemakers for generations and decided to attend the Alba enological school. After graduation, he joined his father in working in the vineyard, whose grapes were mainly sold to third parties. After a short time, his curiosity led him to start the winemaking process and then to plant new varieties. Today, Andrea cultivates his vineyards organically, striving for the perfect balance of the vine without ever forcing production. Being in Dogliani, Andrea cultivates Dolcetto grapes destined for the production of Dogliani DOCG, alongside Nebbiolo and Barbera and, in the future, white grape varieties.
